Baron & Elizabeth E-Sesh

So I had the great honor of shooting this amazing couple on Sunday.

Meet Baron and Elizabeth... and the camera loved them almost as much as I did! This couple was so much fun and so easy to work with. I left the location thinking, "Aw crap! I should have gotten this shot, and this one, and this one... " So I've added them to the shots I have to take at their wedding in July! Congrats you guys! Keep an eye out for them in upcoming ads!

Michelle's Senior Sesh

So I've been secretly billing "Senior Portraits" off my website just by word of mouth, and wouldn't you know I had my first request for one... Only she's graduating in 4 weeks which means I have to process these babies... fast.

Michelle has been dancing since she was 8 and wanted to integrate her passion for dance in her portrait session. Her form and grace in watching her dance was unbelieveable!!

Here's a sneak peek of the session!

A Very Pink Birthday

So some of my friends have a tradition... and you forget about this tradition until it happens to you...

I'm driving home from my day thinking, "This has been a really great day! I've heard from everyone I love, blah, blah, blah..." Reminiscing over the past 12 hours and everyone's Facebook messages (you all are so great!)... and I drive up to this...

That's correct... what you are seeing are flamingoes... all over my front yard... for the whole neighborhood to see... and the HOA to write me a letter about.
The amazing thing is that when you drive up on this yard of pink beautiful plastic creatures you can't help but laugh, and know that deep down inside you are loved by a great group of women.
Thanks for helping my birthday go out with a bang... I love you!

Lee & Brandon E-Sesh

Hello and welcome back from a crazy Easter weekend! I think I needed last night just to breathe and remember where I live!

Saturday was a glorious day... not in weather, but definitely in spirit. It was the only cloudy and cold day of the weekend (Friday was amazing and yesterday was fab!), but alas - we had an engagement session at The Biltmore Estate that would just not wait!

Say hello to Lee & Brandon - two of the most adorable and fun loving people I have shot to date. They were both so natural and comfortable - couple that with The Biltmore and we have a day full of pictures, and not a bad one in the bunch!

At one point we drove up to the River Bend Farm, where Lee ceremoniosly donned her cowboy boots with her cute white sundress and mingled with the chickens and goats.

And my favorite...

After I get the front of the house pics approved by The Biltmore marketing department I will let you know! You might want to keep an eye out for those pics in my next advertising campaign!

Lost & Found

So my husband and I both have this bad habit of putting important things down and then not remembering where we put them... like phones, keys, credit cards and this past week's saga... my husband's jump drive.

Let me give you some back story... the hubby keeps our LIFE on that little white piece of plastic and hardware. We're talking our budget, miscellaneous work nuances, resumes and our billpay schedule - which means we got paid Friday (10 days ago) and couldn't pay our bills because we stopped our paper statments and didn't know what was due... talk about stressful!

So we know that it went missing sometime last Sunday night, and I thought I had heard the dog chewing on something plastic that same night... so we're talking a week of following the dog around everytime she went outside while Ryan was in Virginia, and I was secretly tearing the house apart looking for the darn thing... only to have him come home, slip into the shorts he was wearing that night and discover the drive... in his pocket.
